According to various reports around the internet (far too many for it to be false), a whole slough of non-playable PSP and PSOne titles are now available on North American accounts through your download list.
Reports coming in from Twitter, NeoGAF and others have all but confirmed that previously unplayable titles (due to licensing, or other reasons) such as Spyro, the Crash Bandicoot series and much more are now playable on PlayStation Vita with a little bit of ninja skill.
Though not advertised anywhere, these titles are available to you via your download list (which can be accessed through the PlayStation Store app on your Vita, using the three dots in the bottom right hand corner), and are fully downloadable and playable via this method.
The full scope of the new title compatibility is unknown at this time, but we’ll be sure to update you when an official statement has been made or someone figures out the limitations.
Update: It seems as if this compatibility update extends across the Australia/New Zealand region as well.
