In a post on the publisher’s website, we are told that they will reveal the game’s release date before E3 (which starts on the 9th June) although the game will not see release until after E3 has finished.

Oddworld : New ‘n’ Tasty will feature both Cross Buy and Cross Save features – so if you wish to you can play the game on your PS3 or PS4 and then carry on where you left off on your PlayStation Vita at no extra cost.

Speaking of cost, the pricing for the game has also been announced. We are told that Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty will release at $29.99 in North America, €24.99 in Europe and approximately £19.99 in the UK.

To top it all off, we are told that developer Just Add Water have spent the last few weeks improving the way that the creatures of New ‘n’ Tasty behave – making the game a smarter and more exciting experience. As well as this, the level design has been refined to improve the game’s flow.

Until Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty‘s release date is announced, we will be sure to keep posted on any further news here at The Vita Lounge. For now though, here are a bunch of brand new screenshots for the game;

    so they did go with 30 bucks. More than I’d like to spend on a game, but Oddworld and Abe are worth it to me, so I’ll buy in. Now, to just save up enough scratch to get 30 bucks in my PSN wallet…

      I was kinda surprised to see the $30 price but Oddworld has always been about quality so I’m willing to pay what they are asking.

      On the other hand, I hope the Lounge staffers are working on Starlight Inception and Putty Squad reviews. Extremely curious as to wether or not they feel the quality of the two justify their $23 and $25 pricetags. Seems a tad bit high IMHO.

        What I have played of Starlight Inception so far has been great, but I’m a sucker for the genre. Ace Combat, Colony Wars, Tie Fighter, Wing Commander are all fantastic in my book. So, take my word with the appropriate amount of grainy salts…
