Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment is set to get a giant update this July, and we’ve got some details on what that update brings.

This new update is set to bring major change to Aincrad, adding around thirty (30!) hours of content to the title. To better serve their potential buyers, Bandai Namco Games is even asking for suggestions from fans, trying to incorporate everything they can into this update package before it releases this July.

As it stands, we’ve confirmed that the update will increase the level cap from 200 to 250 and that it will add both new quests and new areas to explore. It’ll also include new monsters, like the boss pictured in the new art below.

We also get a look at the concept art for a new garden area set to be included in the update. Here you’ll be engaging in event scenes with Sachi, featuring both conversations and dates.

And it seems like the update will also be giving Philia a whole new outfit, though we expect that trend will extend across to other characters as well.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment is already available in Japan, and is set to be released this Summer in North America. We’ll have more on this update – including whether or not it will be rolled into the North American release – in the near future.

They better be careful what they do with bringing back Sachi. It could ruin parts of this game for me. I might just ignore her entirely.
