Sony have long discussed the possibility of a PS4/PS Vita bundle without actually confirming anything concrete. Thanks to a post on Gameblog.fr, that could be about to change.

Brought to our attention by Pata from our forum, the French gaming site suggests (via Amazon France) that on June 27th (which is a Friday) we will see the launch of a bundle for just under €580. This doesn’t seem to represent that much of a saving, but whether it’s true or not remains to be seen.

We definitely think that a bundle which gets more Vita units out there can only be a good thing, but pricing is crucial. Do you think we will see a bundle soon, and how much do you think it should be?

500€ is the sweet spot imo.

This would sell vitas! Whoo-hoo! Now if only they could get away from the ports. Not that they’re a bad thing (I’m playing God of War right now), but they don’t exactly drum up sales.

If proven to be true, It could go a long way in helping Sony kill 2 global birds with one stone.

Getting more Vitas in hands in the west and more PS4s into living rooms in Japan.
