Broken Sword developer Revolution added their latest Developer Diary to their website today with news of interest to Vita-owning Broken Sword fans, in Europe at least.
Developer Diary #10 on the Revolution website, which can be read in full here, offers a release window for the second episode of the Kickstarter-funded Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse.
The PSVita version is now with Sony Europe, and will release before the end of this month.
There was also a rather unexpected nugget of good news for anyone who hasn’t kept Broken Sword on their oft-crowded Vita memory card, and has subsequently lost their episode 1 save file, the developer diary mentions a new feature which allows you to ‘Start from Episode 2’ from the games’ menu. This will be a welcome relief for anyone who was expecting to replay the first episode prior to the episode two release.
It’s also worth noting that near the end of the diary both Broken Sword 6 and Beneath A Steel Sky 2 are mentioned without instantly being dismissed – perhaps future Kickstarter campaigns will see Revolution move on from The Serpent’s Curse to one of these projects.
