A ton of new trailers introducing the heroines from To Love-Ru Trouble Darkness: Battle Ecstacy, but be warned – there’s a lot of not-safe-for-work content included.

In FuRyu’s upcoming action game To Love-Ru Trouble Darkness: Battle Ecstasy, the hero “Rito” will be fighting monsters, it’s true – but also heroines. If you’re wondering why he’s fighting a bunch of girls, check out the not-quite-safe-for-work trailers for the six introduced heroines on their Youtube channel.

To Love-Ru Trouble Darkness: Battle Ecstasy is set to release May 22nd in Japan, with no word on localization.

As much as Id love this game to come out being a big fan of the Anime and Manga, the reality is nobody should hold their breath. Anime licensed games are SOO dificult to get over here thanks to licensing…sigh!

I see that thrown around but that’s actually not the case anymore. The new issues for anime licensing are much simpler than they used to be back in the day. Main struggles now are accidentally limiting the usage of the voices to Japan only (which for anime itself, never happens as they damn well know better) and the big but most prevelant: Country licenses. These days, the issue is “We’ll give you the license for X, Y, Z country, which makes it more expensive.

For a title like this though, a localization house would have to get Furyu toget a global license to pass onto them to release the product outside of japan and whatever else it entails, then worry about the logicistics of feasibility.
