Natsume has announced that they will be developing a new Reel Fishing title named Reel Fishing: Master’s Challenge for the PlayStation Vita.

Natsume has revealed that they will be adding to the Vita’s collection of fishing games with this entry and provided us with this description of the new title;

One day, you return to the fishing lodge where you spent lots of time with your father when you were young. But once you step inside, the memories you had in this place as a child come flooding back to you. Motivated by the memories of your past, you decide to embark on the same journey that your father did when you were young. Will you be able to catch all of the fish your father caught all those years ago, and even surpass him?

Natsume are still to confirm a release date for Reel Fishing: Master’s Challenge, but as soon as they do you can be sure to catch the news here at The Vita Lounge.

    Now I see what they ment to “New 100 brand new games will come to the PS Vita”.

    I hope it has RPG elements, and that it’s just as much about talking and meeting people as it is about fishing (maybe slightly less so). I’d play a fishing version of Harvest Moon.

      Indeed, It’d be nice to see some RPG elements in game for this one – level up stuff, skills, unlock new items.. possibilities are endless. But I don’t think they’ll add something like social features other than online ranking. It’d be great to meet someone online while virtually fishing with friends, but multiplayer is a feature that only makes sense in games

      that gives you back some profit. I mean online multiplayer and ad-hoc.
