We knew it was coming, but now XSEED have announced it officially; Senran Kagura: Bon Appétit! is coming West this Winter.

I posted the “rumour” the other day, but now we’ve got the official confirmation; Dekamori Senran Kagura is coming West as Senran Kagura: Bon Appétit! this Winter.

Check out the mini press release below;

[Platform: PS VITA digital; Release: WINTER 2014] – Revealed for the first time, this rhythm spin-off of the ninja ‘busty brawler’ series, SENRAN KAGURA, features cooking battles rather than shinobi showdowns. The emphasis is on outrageous humor, delicious food and plenty of eye candy. Culinary warfare is carried out through an array of rhythm battles—tap the correct buttons in time with the beat to rack up combos and determine the size and quality of the resulting dish. With 10 girls to choose from (22 when including additional DLC), players are challenged to create the ultimate Super Dish and unlock a special feast for the eyes.

No specific release date or pricing has been announced other than the aforementioned “Winter”, but we’ve got lots of time for that in the coming months. Also it’s of note that the title will be digital only, so it might be a good idea to start freeing up some space now.

Are you excited for Senran Kagura: Bon Appétit! to hit the West? Let us know in the comments.

    Well ill have to start adding funds to my PSN account in anticipation of the games arrival. Ironically I never added funds to either my 3DS or Vita until the Senran Kagura franchise arrived. My first digital purchase for the 3DS was Burst and now my first digital purchase on the vita is going to be Bon Appetit!

      I’m amazed that someone who owns a Vita has never purchased anything Digital for it!

      Or is that rather a generalisation, I assume you must have SOME digital games on your Vita, right? 😮

        Yeah I have Uncharted, Sly Cooper, Retro City Rampage, and The Walking Dead season 1 (have the code but have never installed it). All of which came with my Black Friday Bunduru when I bought it.
