This has been doing the rounds for the last few days, but if you haven’t seen yet, but Chilean retailer Smart have a page listing for a Vita version of the Plants versus Zombies sequel, Garden warfare.

There is not other online listing for the title, nor is a release date present.

Garden Warfare was released on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One earlier this year and is a Tower Defence title with third person shooter elements, and is the sequel to Plants versus Zombies, which is available on the Vita.

Would you buy it if it came out on the Vita?

Read the page in espanol, seems more like a scam to me in order to get your email.

I am buying it for the PS4, I don’t know about a vita version unless it had cross play simply due to needing a multiplayer community

  • Lester Paredes

I would. Game looks fun. Seems like it’d be a good fit.

Garden Warfare isn’t really a sequel, it’s a spin off /nitpick Popcap describes it mostly as a third person shooter, but it has the tower defense elements. Love the maps and 3D elements in it too. It’d be a good announcement to make if its true but the source is..extremely suspicious to say the least.

Zmart isn’t really a good source for this kind of info. Last year they listed a new Call of Duty and Disney Infinity for Vita.

Most likely wrong, It wouldn’t surprise me if they watched the PlayStation 4 announcement documentary which showed remote play with Vita as they talked about how great Vita is for it and that they’ve developed it with Vita as a control pad in mind. Only didn’t speak English so didn’t realise it was just remote play?
