We get a new look at Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment with this English language trailer from Bandai Namco Games Europe.

Coming to Western gamers sometime in the next few months, Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment follows the protagonist of the anime Kirito (or whomever you customize him to be) as he attempts to beat a virtual reality game called Sword Art Online. Beating the game will earn him the freedom to go back to his real life, the game actually a virtual prison to which the only escape is completion.

The trailer gives us a look at the story, the gameplay and the heroines the game has to offer – check it out below;

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment is already available is Asia, and will be releasing in the West this Summer.

  • The new trailer looks nice. I wonder what the last day of summer is, because I WILL be expecting to have this in my hands before then. 😀

      Well apparently October is still summer according to Nintendo

      • Lol, right?! I am beyond eager to get my hands on the 3DS version of Smash Bros. So far I have One Piece, Akiba’s Trip, Fantasy Life, and Smash Bros to look forward to. Still waiting to add Hollow Fragment to the list…

    Would pick it up if it wasn’t for digital only.

      You should really consider the Asia version. Today I saw footage of a let’s play video of Hollow Fragments Asia version, and I got to point out that the English text is great. As long as you don’t mind Japanese dub you should be fine and have a physical copy if you so desire.
