This morning the release window for Vita’s promising title Murasaki Baby was posted on the official Murasaki Baby Facebook page. The post confirmed that the game will release in September, although did not give a specific date. It’s also confirmed that the game will be a PSN download exclusive, so no retail copy of the game.
Breaking news (you were all waiting for)! Murasaki Baby will be released in September 2014 as a PS Vita PSN exclusive! See you soon, Baby!
Murasaki Baby tasks you with protecting and guiding a young girl as she looks for her mother using the Vita’s control systems to the fullest. I was lucky enough to play Murasaki Baby in February and enjoyed the brief demo a lot – developers Ovosonico have clearly focused on the touch screen controls for the game and I’m pleased to say the touch controls had been implemented very well. Murasaki Baby scooped a number of nominations, and won, for awards at this years’ E3.
We’ll keep you updated with new information on Murasaki Baby as it comes in. Here’s a video from live stage coverage of the game at this years’ E3 discussing and showcasing various elements of the game.
