Gust is bringing both Ar noSurge and an offline version of Ciel noSurge to PlayStation Vita this October.

The port of Ar noSurge Plus will include new costumes, compatibility with the Vita’s touch screen and additional purification ceremony characters. Ciel noSurge Offline takes a different route, as it will be a completely reprogrammed version of the game instead of a port.

Both Ar no Surge Plus and Ciel no Surge Offline are set to launch in Japan on October 2nd, available physically for 6,264 yen (~$61.50 US) each or digitally for 5,554 yen (~$54.50 US) each.

Keep an eye on TVL, as we’ll have more on these noSurge titles as it becomes available.

If you think those prices are messed up wait till you see the limited eddition boxsets prices for these portable games. You can easily find prices in the 7,000-9,000 Yen price range.

I know Ciel noSurge is a visual novel, but what exactly is Ar noSurge a JRPG?

    • Kurisu Makise

Traditional Turn based JRPG, it is the “spiritual” sequel to Ar Tonelico trilogy and within the same universe as Ciel no Surge.
