That Dangan’ shooter gets a September release date for Japan.

Another Episode is set between Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havok and Danganronpa: Goodbye Despair, with Makoto Naegi’s younger sister Komaru as the main character. Joining her is Genocide Jill and a young boy named Toko, who seemingly end up following Komaru as she sets off to find her brother and the other survivors.

As for the enemy, you’ll be facing around ten different types of Monokuma – taking them on with either a megaphone style hacking gun (Komaru), scissors (Genocide Jill) or whatever Toko has in his arsenal.

Danganronpa: Another Episode will be released on September 25th in Japan, priced at 7,020 yen (approx. $68.90 US).

No news yet on a Western release – but Trigger Happy Havok and Goodbye Despair both secured releases over here, so it’s certainly possible we’ll see this one over here as well.

I wouldn’t mind sacrificing a few people that I dislike to Monokuma to get this game localized. Loved the first, and this one looks crazy and fun.

So who wants to call it? I say NISA localizes this title early 2015, any thoughts?

I wouldn’t be surprised if it hits the West within 6 months of the Japanese release.

Awesome – I hope this makes it over and it signals a trend for Japanese developers releasing games in genres other than visual novel and RPG.
