A partnership between Rising Star Games and Mindscape means that everyone’s favourite curry game is coming to Australia and New Zealand this Summer.

Publisher Rising Star Games and Mindscape (a game and software distributor) announced yesterday that they will be partnering up to bring Sorcery Saga to Australia and New Zealand.

Here’s what Martin Defries, MD of Rising Star Games had to say about the development;

“Rising Star Games’ main goal is to bring exciting and unique games to as many people around the world as possible, so being able to work with Mindscape only helps to extend the reach of our releases even further.”

Said Tonia Velasco, COO of Mindscape Asia Pacific added;

“We are really excited to welcome Rising Star Games to our already stellar line up of games partners. Their diverse range of titles is very popular amongst gamers and we look forward to releasing more games in the future.”

Looks like we’ll be seeing more Rising Star titles in the lands down under, but for now – this is a good start.

Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God will be making it to AU/NZ shelves this July for $59.95.

    59.95 Ausie/Zealander bucks? wow and I thought the japanese had it bad with their prices, looks like the rest of the world isnt that far off when it comes to paying loads of money over their hobby.

    • Kyle Wakeling

      Yeah, it’s like $55 US – but I hear they make more money on average over there than the US does so it’s not as bad as it seems (though they’re still getting “taxed”)..

    Ouch at the price. but glad that they’re getting the game. It’s fun and funny.
