We get a look at the opening cinematic from upcoming JRPG Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines.

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia and Alfa System released the opening cinematic from Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines on YouTube, giving us a look at the first two minutes.

Check it out;

The game is due out in Japan (under the name Ore no Shikabane wo Koete Yuke 2) on July 17th, with a North American and European release also planned for an undisclosed date in the future.

As we mentioned before, if you’ve got a Japanese account you can pick up the demo July 10th – letting you get a head start by playing through the first year of in-game time. Save data from the demo will carry over to the full game – so if your “home” region is JP… make room now!

    I hope this game comes out quickly in the west. Other than the questions that arise from the fact that they only live for 2 years (How in the hell do they have babies? Do they age incredibly quickly? Are they forced into marriage? do they understand the situation that befalls them?), which I’ll have to ignore and hope for answers in the game, the story sounds interesting!
