Bandai Namco have been very busy today but they still found time to tell us that Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment will be getting a digital release in North America August 19th, Europe and Australasian regions getting it a day later on August 20th. In addition to this, they also had a few details to share on some of the game’s characters.

  • Yui used to be used to be the players’ Mental Health Councelling Program, MHCP0001. She was rescued by Kirito and Asuna for some reason. She is attached to them ever since and calls them “Papa” and “Mama”
  • Agil is an indispensable reliable player to the Assault Team. He supports Kirito as a merchant to collaborate with the Assault guild. He recently opened a shop in “Arc Sofia” on the 76th Floor and supports Kirito and the Assault Team.
  • Klein is the skilled leader of the guild, “Furinkazan” and participates in the Assault Team. He is also an old friend of Kirito ever since the first log in to “SAO” and like his elder brother.

As well as telling us that they have launched a Sword art Online Website, they also shared this trailer with us.

We will bring you more news as we have it.

  • Kyle Wakeling

Excuse my language, but F%$# YES!

    • I KNOW! Finally!! But uhhh, it comes out the same month as Akiba’s Trip 2…I’m not sure I’ll be ready to quit stripping people of their clothing by then. *evil grin*

      • nonscpo

Don’t blame you ill be playing the game too, don’t forget AkibaStrip UU is an equal opportunity game so there will be just as much male fan-service as female ones…Lol.

  • Uzair Syed

Do we know anything about pricing details yet?

  • nonscpo

Sigh…still dissapointed we didn’t get a physical release for this game and SS Delta. I know we can still get the physical English languaged Asia version from Taiwan for both of them, but somehow its still not the same.

  • Lester Paredes

Oh man. Another game for August. There is no way that I’ll be able to get all the games that month… I guess just Akiba’s Trip for me.

    • nonscpo

I know August and September are looking quite cluttered for Vita owners, not that I’m complaining.

      • Lester Paredes

Indeed. It is a rather odd thing to complain about. Oh no! My favorite system is getting too many games that I want to play! First World Problems, right here.

        • nonscpo

Yup true is true. Actually Id argue its more timing then anything, I wouldn’t mind the volume of games just spaced out better you know.
