When asked whether Bandai Namco Games will localise Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, Bandai Namco Games’ European community manager responded that if a petition to localise the game received 50,000 signatures, then the company would ‘maybe start considering it‘.
Replying to a Tweet from @ianurarius90, Isshak Gravi (@Isshak_Gravi) responded (and subsequently deleted) with ‘make the petition reach 50k fans at least, then we can maybe start considering it‘. Gravi then followed this up with the below Tweet;
Fans have now started signing an online petition for both Bandai Namco Games Europe and America to localise Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, which is set to release in Japan in 2015. Currently at just over 40,000 signatures, the petition is getting close to its target and may persuade Bandai Namco Games to start thinking about localising Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth for Western audiences.
