A post on the European PlayStation Blog has informed us further about Acidnerve’s upcoming fantasy action/adventure title Titan Souls.
How’s this for an opening description (via the PlayStation Blog);
“Armed with a single, indestructible arrow, Titan Souls drops you into the midst of a desolate world you have no knowledge of. Exploration will soon reveal the hiding places of the Titans that reside here, and it’s your job to take them down.”
Doesn’t that just sound bad-ass?
Titan Souls is built on “adrenaline-fueled, tense and punishing boss battles”, and offers no health bars – opting for a man with the golden gun type scenario where one hit on you equals death. This system extends to your enemy titans as well, though with a small caveat – you can one-hit kill a titan, but only if you hit their weak spot.
A punishing game that involves trial and error crossed with skill and cunning, Titan Souls offers no tutorials, hints, prompts or upgrades – it’s pure you versus your enemy, coupled with the danger of you only having a single arrow to kill them with.
The question you have to ask yourself is; do you have what it takes to take on a titan and walk away victorious?
Take a look at these screens and let us know what you think;
Titan Souls is currently set to release in “early 2015”, as always you know where to look for updates 😉
