Due to launch in Japan on August 21st, it has been revealed that Nitroplus and 5pb‘s Chaos;Head Dual¬†will be rated CERO Z for adults only.

This is due to the content in Chaos;Head Noah and will be the first time the CERO Z rated version has released on a PlayStation console. Although the visual novel released on PSP and PlayStation 3 in 2010 and 2012 respectively, these versions were edited and were given a CERO D rating deeming the game suitable for ages 17 and over.

Up until now, it was only the Xbox 360 version of Chaos;Head Noah that was available in all of it’s uncut glory.

Chaos;Head Dual is priced at 5,800 yen in stores, with 5pb also selling Chaos;Head Noah and Chaos;Head Love Chu Chu individually on the PSN at 3,000 yen each.

We all know that Japanese/Americans have different standards when it comes to violence and sex. A game that gets the Cero Z there would get an M rating in North America, like wise a game getting a Cero D in Japan would get an AO in Canada/States.
