Famitsu magazine recently revealed another crossover game from Bandai Namco being developed by Tom Create. Super Hero Generation is an RPG featuring the Gundam, Kamen Rider, and Ultraman franchises. This is not a new crossover though, but a new entry in the long running ‘Compati Hero’ series and a follow up to Lost Heroes on PSP.

A Japanese blog’s report suggests the game will be an isometric grid-based game in the vein of Final Fantasy: Tactics and Disgaea, and will feature several sizes of units.

The following series are confirmed to appear in Super Hero Generation:

Ultraman series:

  • Ultraman Ginga
  • Ultraman Zero
  • Ultraman Moebius
  • Ultraman Tiga
  • Ultraman Seven
  • Ultraman

Kamen Rider series:

  • Kamen Rider Wizard
  • Kamen Rider Forze
  • Kamen Rider OOO
  • Kamen Rider W
  • Kamen Rider Den-O
  • Kamen Rider Black RX

Mobile Suit Gundam series:

  • Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack
  • Mobile Suit Gundam UC
  • Mobile Suit Gundam F91
  • Mobile Suit Gundam Seed
  • Mobile Suit Gundam OO
  • Mobile Suit Gundam AGE: Memory of Eden

Super Hero Generation is around 80% done at this point and will be coming to PS3 and Vita October 23rd in Japan. A Special Sound Edition will also be available, which includes the game’s original soundtrack.

We will be sure to scrounge for any more news on Super Hero Generation in the coming months.

wooo Kamen Rider Black RX! Fun fact: on JP tv show, RX uses his sword to stab monsters to death. on US tv show, RX uses his sword to shoot laser monsters to death.

The Japanese sure love their Mechs, I wouldn’t count on this one coming over unless they overcome their respective licensing issues. Still nice lookout for importers.

I’d play that. So hard. Turn based tactics and robots/mechs? Yes, please. *sigh* I guess I’ll go back and play Front Mission 3 again…
