Comcept have announced that their Mighty No 9 title is to get a second crowd funding campaign to add additional content to the game.

Stretch GoalsHaving used Kickstarter for the initial cash injection, they are now using Paypal to generate additional revenue so that they can add content to the game which they could not cover with the original stretch goals, and the first stretch goal listed here is $200,000 for Japanese/English voice acting with no others known at this time.

You can also pre-order the title now, from $23 by using this link.

Comcept have stated that the campaign for the game has not been used to explore other avenues, such as the announced animated series and all original Kickstarter stretch targets will be unaffected.

Have you backed Mighty No 9 already? Or will you be doing so this time? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

I already supported, and I can’t wait for the final product 🙂

Am I the only one who feels uncomfortable with the fact that their returning to the well without releasing the game first?

The Voice Overs must have been not from the original plan. It’s not like an add on for extra missions, so i guess that was still ethical.

Dunno, I guess it wouldnt bother me if it wasnt for that terrible anime trailer they showed off recently. It feels like Keiji and company are forgeting what was most important with this project you know?

yeah, that occured to me too. let’s hope a full season MN9 anime is not on the next stretch goal lol.

I know I’m in the minority on this one, but I have absolutely no care for this game. And I loved Mega Man.

At all? I can understand someone not wanting to give them money before the game is even developed, but your not even looking forward for the games release?

      • Robert Backland

Ya, there was nothing in the kickstarter that attracted me at all. I’m happy that it’s being made for the other fans though.

Oh okay that’s cool, to each his own I suppose.
