Minato Soft has had a few of their titles ported to console, but with new in-house brand “Minato Station” they’ll be bringing us their first direct to console game in 2015.
Kurogane Kaikitan on PlayStation Vita tells the story of protagonist Masamune Shirogane, who attends an academic institution responsible for training special police corps in anti-terrorist response measures.
The story is reportedly being written by Sakaki Kasa, and directed by Minato Soft’s Takahiro. As for the illustrations and audio, they’re being handled by Mahaya (known for The Zashiki Warashi of Intellectual Village light novel) and Chiyomaru Shikura (who worked on 5pb/Nitroplus’ Science Adventure series) respectively.
According to Siliconera, the game also features some form of supernatural powers which are used for the combat element of the game.
Kurogane Kaikitan is slated to release January 29th in Japan, with no word on a Western localization.
