We get our first real look at Nippon Ichi’s upcoming ecchi title Great Edo Blacksmith, which is reportedly aimed at men in their 20’s.

First teased about two weeks ago, and then revealed just last week – we get our first real look at the game via a set of renders, screenshots and art that have been released by news site Gaming Everything.

Take a look!

It’s looking to be interesting to say the least (I think that’s the “touching” element in the top right screen), though we’re still left to infer and guess with regards to how most of the gameplay actually works – for now.

Great Edo Blacksmith will release in Japan on November 27th, priced at 5,980 yen.

First person battles, overworld exploration (like Legend of Zelda, with the camera held by God perspective. I have no idea what to call that), and nicely drawn images of pretty anime girls and some groping mechanics.
Is it me, or does it seem like every other day, Vita gets a game that’s either groping women or hunting monsters… I’m not complaining about the latter, but I am becoming concerned with the former. I mean… eventually, my wife will see what it is I’m playing and ask just what the hell is wrong with me… lol

Lol I feel the same about games like this one, I really wanna get senran kagura which looks awesome but dat fan service is ridiculous. I probably will get it but the reason I got I vita was to play it while I’m traveling and playing that next to people is embarrassing.

Oh, I’m looking forward to Senran, also. And I’m hoping that Bullet Girls gets a localization as well, but those are two games I’ll have to play in complete privacy. No one can see. No one should see. The amount of embarrassment would be extreme.

Those dungeon pictures are disappointing to look at, however ill hold of on judgement until we get more details as I simply love the premise of this game.

The art/renders looks like something Vanillaware would come up with, but the actual screenshots, while disappointing when compared to the renders, does seem like a fun little distraction. Also, the girls look really pretty (I promise I am not a creep)

Looks neat… but I’d rather have bit less ecchi stuff 😀

Still… I will probably buy it, bought Demon Gaze from NISA and I was happy with result.
