Sega has recently announced a third major update for its almost two year old MMORPG Phantasy Star Online 2.

Titled ‘Episode 3’, we have a sneak peek at some of the new features that you can expect to find in the update when it goes live in Japan on August 27th.

Phantasy Star Online 2 has previously used different themes to change its lobby, such as an Attack on Titan lobby and even a Sonic the Hedgehog lobby! Below we can get a glimpse at some of the themes you can expect to see in Episode 3;


The update will also see the character create mode get some new additions with you now being able to equip four different accessories and also allowing you to adjust some of your characters’ details. The game’s interface also receives an overhaul, with an option to display HP/PP over the head of characters and also allowing for you to preview accessories.

Other features such as dashing, new balances for various classes and new quest features are also included in this mammoth update.
