North Americans will have to wait a few more days to get their hands on this one – as it’s been delayed two weeks for the region.

Originally set to release on the 29th of July, Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds was first delayed ’til the 5th via 5pb’s Twitter;

Later however, a press release was issued by Strangely Compelling (a PR firm linked to the Western distribution of the game) which states that Battle Grounds won’t be made available to North Americans until the 12th.

While Europeans don’t have to worry about the delay as much (the game released on schedule yesterday), they are feeling the delay a little bit as the Kurisu DLC has been pushed back ’til the 6th.

Are you eagerly anticipating the North American release of Battle Grounds? Or are you one of those lucky Europeans who only has to wait for the DLC?

Let us know your feelings on the matter in the comments below.

    Shocker. First time EU gets something first, since we always get shafted. Either way, I’m enjoying my game so far, it is pretty cool.

      While it’s true you guys get a lot of smaller games later usually, you got three of the most anticipated releases first; Sly Cooper Trilogy, Ratchet & Clank Trilogy, and Killzone Mercenary.

      I think it’s fair to say we get equally shafted in different ways, lol

      • Not to mention the eight months it took us to get WRC 4! It’s actually an excellent racing game and a big improvement over WRC 3.

          I meant games like JRPGs and all those niche cutsie anime games.

    Aw, that sucks. Oh well. Gives me that much more time with my backlog.

    I have time to wait, the backlog beckons….
