Mobile and handheld gaming site Pockett have reported two new future Vita titles.

Run Like Hell is an infinite runner from Mass Creation, the team that brought Draw Slasher to the Vita last April. You must run, jump and slide your way to safety from the savages hunting you down through various environments. Previously a free-to-play iOS and Android title with optional micro-transactions, it will be interesting to see what changes they’ll make  to bring a fitting experience for Vita users.

Check out the mobile trailer below;

Alien Shooter is an isometric shooter where you must fend off ever-increasing waves of bloodthirsty aliens with a varied arsenal of weapons. Originally a PC title released in 2003, it received a mobile port earlier this year and developers Sigma Team hope to expand their fan-base by bringing the chaotic gore-filled experience to Vita users in the future.

Here’s a trailer from a non-Vita build to give you an idea of what to expect;

No pricing details or release dates have been announced for either title yet, so we’ll keep you posted as soon as more details emerge.

    will try

    These games look kinda boring. But then, watching videos of Jet Pack Joyride and Age of Zombies were also yawn inducing. Hopefully, these games play better than the videos let on.

      I recall playing Run Like Hell on my iPhone last year. The gameplay is ridiculously simple and lacking a lot of depth, plus unlocking the later levels required a ridiculous amount of total distance ran required. Micro-transactions were available to instantly unlock things, I wonder how they’ll tackle it with this version.

        Hopefully with more tact than the mobile version… Sadly, there’s nothing holding them back if they decide to go that route. Well, nothing except gamer scorn.

    I’ve played Alien Shooter some years ago. Awesome fun. Cant wait for it to come to Vita.

  • Jef Curlin

    Hmmm…it appears Vita is in danger of getting more endless runners than it needs. I’ll try to keep an open mind but I’m concerned about the Vita store resembling Google Play and Apple’s App store too much.

    At first i thought this had something to do with the old PS2 game, but nope just more iPhone ports…

    Games like those should come to PlayStation Mobile instead of the PlayStation Store, there you could have the same amount of games and shovelware like Google Play
