That’s right folks, everyone’s favourite big-breasted ninjas in training are coming to European region (including Australia!) PlayStation Vitas later this year – and they’re ready to kick ass or cook, whichever you prefer (or both!)

Series producer Kenichiro Takaki noted; “We were surprised and delighted that the Senran Kagura series has been so well received in Europe,” adding – “The team is very excited that these new titles will soon be released for the rest of the world to enjoy.”

Set for a digital only release in the two regions, Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus and Senran Kagura: Bon Appetit! are apparently both slated to release in Q3, though the European launch trailer for Shinovi Versus seems to say “October”.

Check it out;

There you have it, Senran Kagura for everyone! Are you as excited as I am?

    Bon Appetit looks crazy! There’s still the digital only let down…well maybe when its an ultra cheap special sale. I got other games to play first anyway.

      You do realize that Bon Appetit was digital only in Japan too?

      • Ichigo Yoite

        Actually no I didn’t know that but what I meant was the digital let down when it comes to versus anyway. I should have made that clear sorry.

          Oh okay gotcha, however considering how niche of a game shinovi versus is, id assume you’d be thrilled even as a digital only copy. But yeah as someone who prefers physical ownership over digital licensing, I can understand your preference.

            I’m in a bit of a dilemma because of such niche games. On one hand I wanna put pressure on the publishers by not buying them because I’d rather have a physical release. On the other hand I’m afraid that they might interpret that as a low interest of europeans in those games if many people don’t buy them. I really love niche games and it’s a miracle that they are brining them over. Maybe I should start making at least some exceptions from my physical only policy…

            But thanks for telling me that Bon Appetit was digital only in Japan – that makes it a lot easier to make a decision for that one 😀

            Honestly in my opinion it isn’t a tough choice. If this was the Ace Attorney argument for the 3DS id back you and tell you to boycott that game as the AA series is an established franchise. However Senran Kagura is a new franchise for localization, and unfortunately for Europeans Burst got a physical release over there while North America didn’t. I write unfortunatly because I’m confident the lack of a physical release had to have played a factor in the US getting a limited print, were as with the Euro zone they can make the argument that they made physical prints of the franchise and sales didn’t meet expectations. If was you I’d download Shinovi Versus otherwise everybody in Europe could run the risk of not getting the next game Crimson 2 in retail print.

    And you get some titties! And you get some titties! Everyone gets titties!

      Thanks, but as grateful as I am, would it have killed Marvelous Europe to put out a new trailer rather than recycling the E3 one?
