Grip Games has announced that they are bringing Unmechanical: Extended Edition to PlayStation platforms later this year.

This beautiful looking puzzle game was originally released for PC and developed by Talawa Games and Teotl Studios. Unmechanical: Extended Edition promises to bring a completely new adventure than what was offered on the PC with new puzzles to solve and new areas to explore.

The game revolves around a flying robot who finds himself trapped in a vast underground complex and must solve various puzzles in order to find the way out. Along the way you’ll meet new characters and begin to unravel the mysteries of this decidedly un-mechanical world.

The game is being developed using the Unreal engine and will be cross-buy with the PS Vita, PS3, and PS4. Grip Games has even made the bold claim that it could possibly be the best looking Vita game yet.

You’ll be able to judge that for yourself when it releases either later this year or early next year. In the meantime you can check out the trailer and some screen shots below.

I’ll believe it when I see it! Frankly, I think the best looking Vita games are Uncharted, Gravity Rush and Wipeout 2048. Sad they were all launch titles. Still, this game ain’t ugly, that’s for sure.
