French indie developer Cheese Burgames recently confirmed via Twitter that their debut mobile game Echoes: Deep-sea Exploration will be sailing it’s way to Vita!

Echoes: Deep-sea Exploration puts you in the deep unknown aboard the S.M.D Imperceptible minesweeping submarine. Backing you up on your journey are Captain Krats and his trusty mechanic Pam. You must manoeuvre your way in the dark labyrinth of the abyss, repelling sea creatures and avoiding various wreckage and enemies while you defuse hundreds of mines.

Feel free to check out the launch trailer:

We will be sure to keep a lookout for any new info on the Vita version of Echoes: Deep-sea Exploration.

One thing that I simply don’t understand, this app never reached a hundred downloads on android. And yet, Cheese Burgames handled a PSVita port. I get it, it’s a simple game, not too complicated stuff which makes it easy to port over. But what about gameloft’s Asphalt? They tried it once with the Vita, why didn’t they keep up with it just like they do on android and ios? Sometimes I believe sony’s developer relations is in-existent when it comes to bringing great android/ios games on Vita. Almost as if someone did never like the idea of Vita succeeding on the market with a respectful library of games. So they leave us with indie-leftovers.

Gameloft games are all mouth and no trousers, they get found out on console.

Wasn’t always like that. The best game on the Xperia Play (Playstation phone) was probably Dungeon Hunter 2 which really felt like a portable Diablo 2.
Dungeon Hunter 3 & 4 on the other hand were pure f2p/iap garbage. 🙁

I like the idea of finding deep sea creatures at the bottom of the ocean, but boy is that gameplay video boring.
