Wondering if Danganronpa: Another Episode is right for you? The details regarding the game’s difficulty modes might help you decide.
A third person shooter at its core, Danganronpa: Another Episode is a definite departure from the style of the first two games in the series; Spike Chunsoft however, have considered the effect the genre change would have on potential players and has tailored the game’s difficulty modes around this issue.
They’ve created three difficulty modes for the game; Genocide Mode, Trouble Mode and Despair Mode.
- Genocide Mode is designed to cater to players who either aren’t used to action games, or simply want to enjoy the story.
- Trouble Mode is the middle ground, and supplies you with an ample amount of truth bullets for the action based gameplay.
- Despair Mode contains the same gameplay style and requirements as Trouble Mode, but with less truth bullets.
The developers recommend playing Another Episode in Despair Mode, but of course it’s your choice in the end.
Danganronpa: Another Episode is set to release on September 25th in Japan, with still no news on a Western localization.
