Playdek’s award winning digital game Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer is coming to the PS Vita. The title is a deck building game which was released on iOS in 2011 and was received fairly well by gamers and critics.

In a post on the EU Blog, Playdek’s  community manager Shyla Schofield said:
“With this release we have some very interesting features that we are working on that you are sure to love.

One of the features that we will be able to offer with this release is cross-platform connectivity. Yup, you read that right. With cross-platform connectivity, you will be able to connect to other players and play against them regardless of what device they are playing on.

So you know that friend who loves playing on their tablet device? You will be able to play with them! You know that friend who seems like they have their phone attached to their hand at all times? You will be able to play with them! Basically any device that runs Ascension, you will be able to connect with. This means that you will have a much larger pool of gamers to connect with and you will hopefully have more available games to join than you will know what to do with.”

We don’t have any solid release details at this time but we understand that we can expect the game in 2015.

Are you a fan of the game, or games like this?
