Developer Disco Pixel has announced that they are bringing Jungle Rumble: Freedom, Happiness, and Bananas, a touch-based rhythm game over to the PS Vita very soon.
Jungle Rumble, which is currently available on iOS, features two tribes of monkeys who inexplicably find themselves at war with each. Players will use the Vita’s touchscreen to drum to the beat of the music in order to control the monkeys. Tap on a monkey and then tap on a tree to get the monkey to start climbing. Or tap a monkey, tap a coconut, and tap a rival monkey to hurl the projectile at him. But it all needs to be done to the rhythm of the jungle. As the action intensifies, the music gets crazier and more chaotic until a mistake is made, and it all goes silent.
There have also been some improvements made to the game during its transition to the Vita. It now has a more comprehensive tutorial as well as the addition of bonus levels.

No release date has been given yet, but we have been told to expect it “very soon.”
