We already know that Revelations 2 is real, but could we get a Vita version?
If we have learned anything from gaming conferences and the Vita this year it is that we should definitely set our expectations low and definitely not get excited, so it may be beneficial to push this down to just a rumour for now.
But what a rumour. It seems that the Sony website listed some images (some of which have been since removed) for titles they could be discussing at the Tokyo Game Show – which runs from the 18th to the 21st of this month – and one of these was for Biohazard: Revelations 2 and this was listed under the Vita titles, along with a “coming soon” image for another unannounced Vita game.
Capcom have already confirmed the existence of Revelations 2 after it was leaked earlier this month, but the Vita version wasn’t on the list. This doesn’t mean that it’s not going to be announced of course, but it could be a mistake. We all know how damaging that can be after the Type-0 fiasco.
The original Revelations was first released on the 3DS in 2012 before being ported with a HD upgrade in 2013 and the sequel is set to adopt the same episodic story telling featured in the original, with four weekly parts planned.
We will keep you posted with any developments on this story. Would you buy it if it was released?
