Are you currently playing the incredibly lengthy Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment? Have you been waiting to play until the “big update” drops? We’ve got some good news.

The 646MB, content-infusing update is now live in the North American region, reportedly going live in the European region tomorrow.

Here’s the full change-log you’re prompted with;

Those looking to install the content update should hit refresh (the circling arrows) in the livescreen window for the game, forcing a check for new information – then you use the golden arrow icon that appears to begin the download.

  • *speeds home* must download now!!!

  • Phelan

Is it the same update which in EU was available in 10 parts? (already removed from EU store)

Or is it something new? I’ve noticed some big pack few days ago on NA SEN, but didn’t know whether it was something different from what we had or not.

    • Kyle Wakeling

This is an update, not the free for a limited time DLC you could get on the store.

      • Phelan

        Ahhh! Right makes sense

  • SeVok

Free post-launch injection of content, it still exists. Thank you Bandai Namco !

  • Karl Smith

Still waiting and still no sign of the update.

  • Ichigo Yoite

    argh can’t wait for tomorrow!!!

I hope this game is reduced to £20 at some point. I would pay £40 for retail but simply will not pay more than £20 for a downloadable game no matter how lengthy.

    • nonscpo

Dont blame you, digital games shouldnt cost anywhere near the price of a retail game!

      • Kyle Wakeling

How do you know a retail version wouldn’t be $49.99? That’s a valid price point for Vita titles. 😉

        • nonscpo

My issue isnt with content its about being reasonable. Its not right to charge someone the same price for a physical copy that you’ll own forever. Cause with digital it can be de-listed five years from now and you’ll never be able to play it again. I still feel that no digital game should exceed the $30 price tag!

    • Kyle Wakeling

While I understand the want of a lower price (everyone wants to pay less – common sense), as someone with a ton of hours into it I can tell you that I would have paid double that £40 for the digital version you’re complaining about with no hesitation.

  • Lester Paredes

    Wow. Big update.

  • nonscpo

I wonder if they’ll ever release a patch to fix the bad engrish text in the game?

  • sporked

Agaaaah still no update as on 21:55 UK time. I wants to play wif Argo!

  • Danny Silvester

    Well worth the money!
