Creator Daniel Linssen has announced that he is bringing his acclaimed platformer The Sun and Moon to PlayStation Vita.
A game which started its life as a Ludum Dare game-jam entry, The Sun and Moon has not only gone on to win that very game jam but has also gained enough momentum to be pushed to PC (Steam) and PlayStation Vita as official releases.
The gameplay of this platformer involves diving into (and through) the platforms that lead the way through the levels, with gravity flipping depending on which side of the platform you’re on. Using this gravitational potential you can weave your through the levels, the pull of gravity as you flip back and forth accelerating you to the three orbs scattered across each of them. Once those are collected, it’s off to the wormhole which will end the level and take you to yet another location.
This task naturally gets harder as you advance through the 150+ levels included in the game, however you shouldn’t fear getting stuck as a non-linear progression system means you’ll always have a few choices for advancing.
Does this sound/look interesting yet?

The Sun and Moon is set to release on PlayStation Vita early next year, keep an eye on The Vita Lounge for updates as they happen.
