A post on the PlayStation Blog has announced that the firmware update originally announced at the pre-TGS SCEJA keynote is dropping tonight, bringing themes with it in tow for tomorrow.
PlayStation Vita firmware v3.30 is set to release tonight, bringing with it the following features;
- You can now see Trophy rarity when viewing Trophies on your PS Vita system
- You can now send event files from your Calendar to your friends using Messages or Email, enabling them to easily add those events to their own Calendars
- You can now add players not in your Friends list to your events
- Themes will be enabled, allowing you to personalize your PS Vita’s Start and Home screens, system application icons, and the system’s background music
Along with the added feature of themes, you’ll of course need themes to go with it and switch to – no need to worry though, as themes launch on the store tomorrow. Non-game themes including Crystal, Four Seasons, and Stitching will be available right off the hop, with fan-favorite game themes such as Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Tearaway, and Freedom Wars reportedly “coming soon”.
Are you excited for these new features and themes? Let us know in the comments.
