Developer SideQuest Studios announced today they will bring Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype to PS Vita.

Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype is a shoot ‘em up released in 2010 exclusively on PS3. The game was a big hit amongst players and critics which resulted in many requests for a portable version. SideQuest Studios listened and is currently developing a PS Vita version of Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype. They are aiming to make this port as perfect as possible and are using a custom-build engine just to achieve that. This resulted in a game with almost no load times and it will be running at 60 frames per second.

Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype features up to ten intense stages with a dynamic difficulty; the better you play and score the higher the difficulty of the stages. You can choose from three ships with more than ten unique weapons. There’s also a challenge mode for the more hardcore players. The PS Vita version will also include it’s own leaderboards and even a new trophyset for you trophyhunters out there.
