Today, Dennaton Games’ confirmed via Twitter, that their much anticipated sequel: Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number can be expected late 2014 to early 2015 due to “some final tweaks and polish.”

The official Hotline Miami Twitter also followed that up by saying: “Your patience is appreciated and will ultimately be rewarded with everything you hoped for and nothing like what you expected.”

The title was previously slated for a long past Q3 2014 release and is gonna come packing with more characters, weapons, and a sweet-ass level editor which you can see here:

In the mean time, I highly recommend you check out our review of the first game and give it a shot yourself because it is one of the most fun Vita games I have ever played.

It seemed clear, as far as we did not know any news of the game. I hope that it comes in later 2014, better than early 2015, :P.

What they said leaves me with doubts, I thought that the game would be very continuity… “Your patience is appreciated and will ultimately be rewarded with everything you hoped for and nothing like what you expected”… Interesting.

Anyone knows if level editor will come to consoles? I think that someone asked them by Twitter and they answered that not sure…

All previews have said it’s more of the same so that’s a very interesting comment.
