Beyond Human, a 2D action platformer inspired by games such as Metroid, Mega Man and Devil May Cry, has launched on Kickstarter with an aim to release on the PlayStation Vita.

Beyond Human is set in a post-apocalyptic world following an alien invasion. Playing as Adam, who has woken up from a coma and has amnesia, you set off to find out what happened and to learn who you are. The team behind the game, who are very fond of anime, have said that “We will have over the top, bad ass, action packed cutscenes to tell the story or reveal a new boss.”

Beyond Human plays in a Metroidvania style, with 20+ mini boss battles and eight epic boss battles. The two creators of the game aim to raise €20,000 in total ahead of the game’s July 2016 release.

Pledging $10 will see you get the game early and at a discounted price. Once these early bird copies are gone you can still pledge $15 (the game’s regular price) or even more if you wish to receive Kickstarter-exclusive weapons, skins and more.

So far, things are not going well. And I do not understand why, because it looks great.

    Good luck to them.

I’ll support them, being saving up some money for this. The project is very well descriptive, I almost got the feeling ‘too good to be true’ and that’s what concerns me. Anyway, spread the word on Twitter, google+, facebook, etc; Let your friends know.

That looks awesome. Nice Metroid nod in their video. If I had money, I’d throw it at them. Hopefully they make it, I’m sure I can scrape together 15 bucks by the time they release.
