Sega has revealed further details for their upcoming 2-D anime fighter.

Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax will make its way to PS Vita on November 13th in Japan, and ahead of the release Sega has unveiled a host of new images from the game as well as detailing a couple of new game modes.

The first will simply be known as Special Mode. In this mode, you can re-watch previous matches and listen to in-game music. Although this might not seem the most ground breaking of additions on the surface, entering this mode will allow you to thoroughly analyse your tactics from previous matches, which in-turn will assist you in improving your overall in-game fighting ability.

It was also revealed that collecting certain items in the game will unlock special illustrations of the main characters as well as a digital version of the Dengeki magazine. You can get a better idea of how the magazine will look on the beautiful Vita screen in the gallery below. Another nice addition is the Customisation Mode, where you can change your chosen characters garment colour, title and icon.

Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax was originally released as an arcade game back in March, and will arrive on PS Vita and PS3 on the 13th November in Japan. Unfortunately, there are currently no plans to bring the fighter to the west, but if that changes, we will of course bring you all the details!

I really wish Sega would bring this here. Didnt SAO: Hollow Fragment do pretty good here actually.

Its not about doing well, all those characters would be a licensing nightmare, it’s the same reason j stars would never come over here

      • SarcasticPersona

You have a point there. I guess it would be really difficult getting all the licensing.

        • nonscpo

Hey never say never just look at Aquapazza nobody thought that game would come out and it did. But yeah its highly unlikey due to the licensing issues.

    Hmmm… which do you suggest?
    -Amazon.co.jp
    -playasia
    -nippon yassan?

I’m kinda tempted to pick amazon…

    • Ichigo Yoite

can u really import via amazon? O_O I thought they only ship things in the store country?!

Oh and one more thing – playasia is a pretty good store. I ordered my copy of SAO there and it arrived so fast I was tempted to send them a thank you card!

      • Phelan

playasia seems like a damn expensive store

Amazon is much cheaper, and delivery fee to europe is only 1000 yen (7 eur) that’s exactly the same price as I am paying in Amazon.co.UK… that’s around 5.5 GBP for shipping.

And yeah… they are shipping to every country
        https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201213220

Btw. you can change language to english on Amazon JP.

But I didn’t import anything from JP yet, so I’d be greatful for some tips. I’m wondering about customes.

        • Ichigo Yoite

Okay good to know I actually thought they only ship to japan…but 7 € seems like a rather slow shipping method I guess??

Well when it comes to playasia it was fast but yeah not cheap. I think I had to pay another 20 € (round about) for customs. The good thing was the shipping time I ordered it on Friday and it arrived on monday. I really didn’t expect that tbh.

Anyway I’m not importing that much from asia (actually only SAO in the last 3 or 4 years…) but even when I’m importing from austria the prices are…horrendous…

So all in all SAO was NOT cheap for me. I think with customs added i paid around 70 bucks for it. Which is close to getting two retail games sadly -__-

Anyway the game’s worth it. I’ve been playing on an asian account to get the free dlc and yeah overall I’m happy.

          • Phelan

I had bad experience with playasia, but I ordered NA version not JP.

I dunno, I wouldn’t be suprised if they would use standard delivery for your region. I mean probably they will send item to their storage in Europe first, and from there send it to you. For my country standard -> courier
