Bandai Namco Games has outed the Japanese release date of God Eater 2: Rage Burst with a new TV commercial posted on their YouTube channel.

Check it out;

According to the video, God Eater 2: Rage Burst for PlayStation Vita is set to cost 5,690 yen on release (either physical or digital), with a “LaLaBit Market Special Edition” set to include a God Eater 2 branded headset for the increased price of 9,690 yen. As for pre-orders, they’re supposed to include a product code for a mission to battle the exclusive Aragami “Orochi” – a tease of which is pictured below.

Special edition packages with hardware and laser engraving (a la the kind done on the Phantasy Star Nova LE Vita shown here) are also planned, set to be sold exclusively through the Japanese Sony Store on release.

Just to reiterate, God Eater 2: Rage Burst is due out in Japan on February 19th – with no word as of yet regarding a Western localization.

    Would be a good thing if BandaiNamco soon localize GE2:RB instead of GE2 first. IF EVER.

    Really hope BNGI brings this to the west. C’mon Namco. It will rack up Vita sales.

      I kinda doubt it will, the fan base from the original one probably isnt big enough here in the west. Besides by this point we have way too many monster hunting games: SS Delta, Ragnorok Odyssey, Freedom Wars, and Toukiden. I think were more likely to get the PS4 port than anything and even that is a dumb move on their part 🙁

        I kinda agree with you… but at the same time I don’t want to agree with you 😛

        I want God Eater 2… and I wish this game only well… but you are right saying that we have bit too many monster hunter~ish games. But than again… I hope we will get GE2 on Vita with nice sexy retail.

    I think if Freedom Wars does well they might consider bringing it over. If it doesn’t, there’s no way.
