The PS Vita and PS4 share a lot of games and they’re about to share one more: RESOGUN. Yes, the voxel-filled PS4 exclusive is making the jump to the PS Vita.

James Hawkins who is part of Sony’s XDEV team revealed on the PlayStation Blog that the Vita version is “coming and is looking, sounding and most importantly, playing great.”

For the time being, no other information regarding the port has been revealed.

When we hear more about the PS Vita version, we’ll let you know. In the mean time, what other PS4 games would you like to see make the jump to the PS Vita? Let us know in the comments below.

Hmm now theres a game Im tempted to pick up on Vita, as long as the price is right that is!

To be honest Resogun was the only game I wanted to play on PS4 that wasn’t already on PS Vita…(exclusives that is, Alien: Isolation and Shadow of Mordor look great).

    Magnumstache.

Awesome. And here I thought they had once said that it was impossible to put on Vita.

Its most likely been really nerfed. It IS impossible to get the same experience on Vita. Here’s hoping Resogun PSVita is Resogun designed for Vita though. Like Super StarDust Delta.

Most likely. But as long as it’s just as fun as the PS4 version, I’ll be happy.

    Holy shealalala!!

Wow! Now that completely came out of nowhere! Great news for a non-PS4 owning, shoot’em up loving scrub such as myself. Hope the wait till it graces my Vita’s OLED will be minimal.

This almost gets me excited for that Playstation Experience PS4 shindig they’re throwing in December. Rest assured I’ve yet to completely lose my mind, so I’m not expecting much. But maybe, just maybe, Vita will be shown a wee bit of love at the event. It could never be enough, but at least it could be representative of a new attitude from Sony towards it’s handheld.

I really want to see TowerFall: Ascension make the jump to Vita. That game was great on PS4 with friends but it’d also be great to play with multiplayer.

Woah, impressed they’re making it for Vita. Now I’m pretty hyped too ~ :3

That’s great news, but I hope they’re able to somehow make it still 60fps and would decide to reduce the FoV, because on PS4 and big TV it’s already very difficult to discern details and on Vita’s screen it will simply be impossible. Fingers crossed it’s good …and cross-sell with free PS+ version on PS4 🙂

As soon as I heard about Pier Solar, I started hoping for a Vita version. It just seems better suited to a handheld system to me.
