The European PlayStation Store has posted a new trailer for upcoming PlayStation Vita title htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary which suggests the game is going to be delayed until next year.

Originally scheduled to release this fall, the new trailer contains a release date of February 23rd 2015. Although the date is unlikely, as the 23rd is a Monday and neither of the Western stores update on this day, a delay is looking likely as we have heard no news on the games release recently. The frame that displays the new date also has guide lines in place (see above image) to aide the editor of the video, suggesting this is not the finished version of the trailer.

Check out the trailer below, and be sure to keep an eye on The Vita Lounge for all news regarding htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary as and when we have it!

    Aw, that sucks.

    • Nonscpo

Why does that suck? This is a very good thing there are way too many games to play and coming out for the Vita this year. They’ll sell better and have more media attention by doing this!

It sucks because inevitably someone out there was really looking forward to play it on it’s initially announced release date. It sucks because it’s like being told by your parents when you are a little kid that at five o’clock, you’ll all watch a movie, only for it to be pushed back to another day.
However, all the reasons you’ve mentioned are excellent reasons why it doesn’t suck.

Hmm… didn’t NISA already promised retail? I think they did.

        They are looking into it.

I’m fine with it, lots of work IRL and plenty of games to play (Freedom Wars and Tales)

    Sure, I’m fine with it.

Edit: Oh and the name is htoL#NiQ -> you are missing the hashtag
