The debut game from brand new indie developer Spiky Fish Games was just announced via the Playstation Blog.
Sketchcross is a logic puzzle game based on nonogram puzzles, which are something of a mix between crosswords and sudoku. By filling in coordinates on a grid from the number based clues given to you along the side axis, you eventually reveal a picture. The screenshots will give you a better idea of what it’s all about:
The game will launch with 50 puzzles starting at 5×5 size grids, going all the way up to 30×30. Along with those 50 initial puzzles in normal mode, frenzy mode is also available with endless randomly generated puzzles in a time limit. Both modes will have world and friend leaderboards. Complete Sketchcross puzzles and books of puzzles (as seen in the screenshots) will result in unique trophies. Sketchcross is also planned to get additional puzzle books after release.
Sketchcross is currently planned for an early 2015 release, exclusively on Vita.
