Spike Chunsoft unveil new trailer and awesome bonuses for upcoming third-person Samurai adventure.

PS Vita and PS3 owners will be getting two seperate games, with handheld owners receiving Ukiyo no Roushi and console owners getting Ukiyo no Shishi. Both games tell the same story, but from different perspectives. Roushi will be told from the viewpoint of the special police force, named  The Shinsengumi, whereas Shishi will see you fighting for the anti-shotgunate rebels.

An interesting concept, with both games being companions to the other, but what about those who own both the PS Vita and the PS3? Well good news, Spike Chunsoft have  announced details of first-print bonuses for the release of both games ahead of their Japanese release. If you are lucky enough to obtain a first-print of either game, you will receive a download code for the other.

As well as two samurai games for the price of one, each first-print copy will include another download code, which will gives players access to a famous sword. PS Vita owners will get access to the Kaga Kiyomitsu sword and PS3 owners will get Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki.

If that wasn’t enough, there is also a new trailer for both games, which includes footage from both the PS Vita and PS3 version. Check it out below:

Ukiyo no Roushi for PS Vita is set to release on Februray 11th 2015 in Japan, two weeks after the release of Ukiyo no Shishi for PS3 on January 29th. Of course we will keep you up to date with any further announcements for the games as we head towards their release early next year.

Sounds cool. I hope it’s good, and I hope it comes West. In that exact order. They can keep the bad games! Lol

More samurai games for vita? roll on. Although between this and samurai warriors 4, I’d pick samurai warrior 4.
