We get some new details and footage from the multiplayer portion of The Irregular at Magic High School: Out of Order.
The latest information and media drop from The Irregular at Magic High School: Out of Order has us exploring the multiplayer modes that are playable locally via ad-hoc. Up to four players can play local multiplayer in Out of Order, and they can compete across three different modes; Normal Match, Territory Collapse and Psyon Flag.
Also known as “Interference Intensity Measurement”, a Normal Match is a free magic battle between characters. When a character’s health reaches zero, they’re KO’d, with the player who reaches the set number of knock outs first being the winner. The required number of KOs to win differs depending on the amount of players, with the formula for finding it a very easy “amount of players, plus one”.
Also known as “Operation Structure Measurement”, this is a target-style match where players must destroy cores which appear in the field. The player who destroys the most cores will net the highest score and will win the match.
Also known as “Operation Velocity Measurement”, Psyon Flag is a capture-the-flag-like mode where players are tasked with acquiring the flags from the “Psyon Flag” points on the field. The player with the most flags when the last flag is collected will be the match winner.
Adding to the gameplay video goodness, we get a look at Miyuki’s fire and ice hell move as well;
