Another game announced during the PlayStation Experience to be making its way to the Vita; Towerfall: Ascension.

Via PlayStation Blog;

“Perhaps shooting your friends in the head is more your style? In Towerfall, up to four players compete in arena-based combat, launching super-powered arrows at each other until only one (or one team) survives. It’s fast and addicting, and on the Vita! Along with Towerfall Ascension the new Dark World expansion content with new characters, levels, and power-ups will also be available for both Vita and PS4!”

Not much else is known about the Vita version, but I for one hope that they add online multiplayer as having the game only ad-hoc would make this game suffer in terms of sales.

Towerfall: Ascension is due out sometime in 2015 and for more on the PlayStation Experience and the PlayStation Vita stay here on The Vita Lounge.

Tyler Olthoff is a 24 year old who has been gaming since he can remember. In love with almost all types of games, the only type he can't stand (and that's probably because he sucks at it) is fighting games. His favorite genres would have to be shooters, RPGs, and adventure games. He owns almost every new system out there including PS4, PS3, XB1, PSVita and the 3DS, but barely plays any of them as it's mainly his good old Vita getting the attention!

    This looks amazing!

    This game is a blast, I wonder how they’re going to do it. I already use my vita remote playing as a second controller for this game, it would be nice to run it natively and do local coop that way too… but. Online multiplayer would get it farther.

    Considering the developer has stated publicly that they didn’t like how Lag interrupted the play and chose to keep it local only.
