Details have been scarce on the upcoming Vita version of Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes, but a bombshell has just landed following the second day of PlayStation Experience – the Vita starter set will contain an exclusive figure, that of Spider-Man in his black suit, which all Marvel aficionados know is his alternate outfit made from the symbiote.

The game is set to launch in May and is being developed by Panic Button Games. If anyone was wondering how the game will connect to the Vita, it’s been confirmed that the base will pair with the handheld via Bluetooth. It was also confirmed that the game will be compatible with the PlayStation TV.

We will bring you more information on the Vita version as we have it, but are you looking forward to getting your hands on this game and the unique figure?

My excitement is pretty level, right now. Granted, I know I’m getting the wii u version of the game. I’ll have to see how I like that before I commit to this.

  • Damn you Disney… Sold.

My favorite part about this announcement is that it includes the Spiderman playset, which I do not yet own. So people who bought the Avengers starter-kit don’t have to worry about double dipping. Hopefully the price will be very reasonable.

The toy box is one of the coolest features of this game, and being able to work on those toy boxes while on the go is going to be amazing. If they can pull it off and make the game run as well as the console version, then it’s going to be killer. I’m really excited.
