Koei Tecmo announce even more new features for upcoming Samurai Warrior 4 ‘re-work’.

After initial details emerged last month that Samuari Warriors 4-II would be a ‘re-work’ rather than an expansion to Samurai Warriors 4, Koei Tecmo have been doing a grand job of teasing us with new features. Now we have even more details for the upcoming sword wielding hack ‘n’ slash title!

Thanks to Famitsu, we now know that the “Musou Military Exercise” will have playable scenarios in offline and co-operative modes. This will allow you to partake in choreographed routines.

We already knew that “Create-a-warrior” mode would be present in Samurai Warrior 4-II, but we now know that it will feature an image upload feature. Weapons and horses can also be made stronger through synthesis if you use the same attributes.

Finally we were given a better insight into how you can gain new skills in game. Skills are learned through books found in the battlefield. Certain sets of skills will be available early into your playthrough, and from there it is up to you to become the most powerful Samurai!

Samurai Warriors 4-II is set to release on the 11th February 2015 for PS Vita, PS3 & PS4 in Japan, and you can bet that we will be providing you with all the latest news for the Samurai Slasher as we near the release date.
