We get a look at the details for some new Sword Art Online crossover content coming to The Irregular at Magic High School: Out of Order.
Due to the fact Bandai Namco Games is behind both Sword Art Online and The Irregular at Magic High School’s appearances on the PlayStation Vita, it should be no surprise that they’re bringing some content from the former to the latter. The first bit of content announced is an Asuna costume for Miyuki Shiba.
Check it out in its full glory;
What’s interesting however is how the release will be distributed (at least initially) – the costume will be available at launch by scanning a QR code on a flyer that video game retailers in the release region (Japan) will be responsible for displaying.
That said, it’s of note that the Asuna costume is only supposed to be exclusive to the QR code method for a limited time – after the promotional period the costume will go free on the Japanese PSN for all.
The Irregular at Magic High School: Out of Order is set to release December 25th in Japan, with no word on a Western localization.
